Breland

Breland is home to Sharn, the largest city on the continent. Over 200,000 people dwell among its soaring towers: a forest of enchanted spires that rise over 1000 ft. into the sky, earning Sharn the sobriquet "the City of Towers." Breland borders Zilargo and Droaam, two regions it once claimed as its own. Zilargo negotiated its independence in 962 YK, while Droaam wrested theirs through rebellion in 986 YK.

Breland is one of the five human nations that vied for supremacy after the fall of the Kingdom of Galifar; it emerged from the Last War in relatively strong condition. Where Thrane and Karrnath fought to exhaustion, Breland has resources enough to remain a force to be reckoned with. The hawks in its parliament never fail to mention that fact, agitating for renewed conflict from the safety of Parliament House.
