Changeling Feats

Feat Prerequisites Benefits
Adaptive Resilience After a SR or LR, choose a damage type from acid, cold, fire, lightning, necrotic, poison, or thunder, and you gain resistance to it; when you take damage of another type, you can change to it as a reaction
Adept Shapechanger Shapechange as a bonus action; have adv. on Deception to impersonate an individual; also +1 ASI to Dex or Cha
Self-Transmuter Artificer, Druid, or Wizard level 1 When you case a transmutation spell on yourself, gain temp hp = 1/2 your level + spellcasting stat mod; lasts for 1 minute; usable 1/SR
Shifting Escapist When you take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing from a melee or unarmed strike, use your reaction to take half damage and immediately move 10 ft without opp.atk.; usable PB/LR

Adaptive Resilience

Your mutable form instinctively adapts to danger, reconfiguring itself to resist harmful forces and harsh conditions.

Prerequisite: Changeling

Benefit: When you finish a short or long rest, choose one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, lightning, necrotic, poison, or thunder. You gain resistance to that damage type until you choose a different one with this feature.

When you take damage from a type you are not currently resistant to with this feat, you can use your reaction to immediately change your resistance granted by this feat to that damage type. You can change your current resistance once per short or long rest.

Adept Shapechanger

You have refined your shapeshifting abilities into a fluid, fast, and psychologically potent art form.

Prerequisite: Changeling

Benefits:

  • Increase your Dexterity or Charisma by 1, to a maximum of 20.

  • You can use your shapechanging trait as a bonus action instead of an action.

  • When you use it to impersonate a specific individual, you have advantage on Deception checks made to maintain the disguise.

Self-Transmuter

Your mutable form responds instinctively to transmutation magic, reinforcing and stabilizing your altered form.

Prerequisites: Changeling; Artificer, Druid, or Wizard level 1

Benefits: When you cast a transmutation spell of 1st level or higher that targets only yourself, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your level (rounded up) + your spellcasting ability modifier. These temporary hit points last for 1 minute or until depleted. You can benefit from this feature once per short or long rest.

Shifting Escapist

You can momentarily destabilize your physical structure, becoming a fluid, elastic mass to escape harm or slip through tight spaces.

Prerequisite: Changeling

Benefit: When you take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage from a melee weapon or unarmed strike, you can use your reaction to momentarily destabilize your form. When you do, you take half damage from that attack and can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
