Droaam

Droaam is a thickly forested land northwest of the Graywall Mountains, once claimed by Breland but never truly controlled by it. After their rebellion in 980 YK, it is now an independent land, and a haven for the unwanted of central Khorvaire: mainly shifters, orcs, goblins, kobolds, and ruokor, as well as any outcast or fugitive. All are welcome. The Droaamites have built an anarchic patchwork nation of independent communities. Its ruling Grand Council meets in Khostrak, a city built on the slopes of the same-named mountain.
