Lesser Control Weather
6th-level transmutation
Casting Time: 10 minutes
Range: Self (2-mile radius)
Components: V, S
Duration: 8 hours
Classes: Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard
You take control of the weather in the area around you. Over the course of 10 minutes after casting the spell, the weather gradually shifts to a new state you specify. The affected area is a 2-mile-radius circle centered on you.
Season | Possible Weather |
---|---|
Spring | Tornado, thunderstorm, sleet storm, or hot weather |
Summer | Torrential rain, heat wave, or hailstorm |
Autumn | Hot or cold weather, fog, or sleet |
Winter | Frigid cold, blizzard, or thaw |
Late winter | Hurricane-force winds or early spring (coastal area) |
You control the general properties of the weather, such as wind direction and intensity. You cannot control specifics of the weather—where lightning strikes, or the exact path of a tornado, for example. The weather continues as you left it for the duration. Contradictory conditions are not possible simultaneously. The spell can remove weather as well as create it.
