Mabar, also known as the Endless Night, is a realm of absolute darkness and decay. It is the embodiment of entropy and hunger, a plane where the very fabric of reality seems to erode under the weight of its own stillness. Light brought into Mabar fades almost instantly—torches sputter, spells dim, and even magical radiance is quickly swallowed by the oppressive black. It feeds on vitality, leeching it from any living creature that lingers too long within its borders. Here, healing magic weakens, and natural life wilts under the plane’s withering touch.

In the depths of the haunting dark dwells the Khial, mysterious djinn of shadow. They rule from citadels sculpted from night itself, chief among them their labyrinthine capital the City of Onyx.
