Secure Shelter

4th-level conjuration

Casting Time: 10 minutes
Range: 30 feet
Components: V, S, M (a square chip of stone, crushed lime, a few grains of sand, and several splinters of wood)
Duration: 8 hours
Classes: Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard

You conjure a sturdy 20-foot-square, single-story cottage or lodge made from local materials, such as timber, stone, or sod. The shelter has a door, two shuttered windows, and a small fireplace. Its floor is dry and level. The structure appears well-kept and comfortably inhabitable. The interior contains eight simple bunks, a large trestle table, eight stools, and a modest writing desk.

The shelter is as strong as a stone building regardless of its apparent material, and it resists fire as if it were made of stone. Normal missiles, such as arrows or thrown weapons, cannot damage it. Siege weapons and other sources of massive force can damage it as normal.

The door and windows are secured with arcane lock. The chimney is covered with a narrow flue and an iron grate. The chimney, the door, and the windows are protected by alarm (audible version). An unseen servant is conjured inside the shelter for the duration, attending to mundane tasks and minor services as directed.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the duration increases by 8 hours for each slot level above 4th.
